THe
next phaze came along with the addition of classically trained singer/dancer Tini
who was lured from heavymetal losers HUgbubble by
the EVocrim coupling of dark punk with digital noise and the thought
of never having to cover marilyn manson's
BEautiful PEople ever again.

THis was one of the most fruitful and prolific times for the early criminals
with the core members recruiting more vanquished victims of the BRitish
wasteland to cause a fuss and generally make a mess.
THe band embarked on a voyage of break-beats and distorted pop
tunes, along the way embracing the aid of various characters
of questionable
morals and talent, including Tini's unemployable brother EVil
EDen on
electric guitar.
MAny
of the songs from this new writing partnership were polished and
refined as busking numbers on the sunny SUmmer streets of BRighton
but most
aren't performed by the new EVocrim brood. SOngs lost to the unrecorded
annals of memory include THinking DIstance, HAppysong, WAiting
for the WIzard and MAscara & TAttoos (which
consistantly
resurfaces, searching for that elusive limelight and was
their first collaboration with guitarist/producer SAmmy
STarfish who now lives in SOuthern FRance).
